a stay with some drawbacks
breakfast area location short walk expensive drinks water price few beds
i found the breakfast area in front of the pool offered a perfect start to my days. abdulsadiq at reception was warm. abdulaziz at the breakfast restaurant also showed warm hospitality. the location was a short walk from elfenna.
i found the prices for drinks, especially the water, were high. the staff were rude.

housekeeping team main square indian restaurant
check-in was swift and the reception staff provided useful information. our room was kept very tidy by the housekeeping team. the hotel is situated inside the medina, a short walk from the main square, it's great, but the souks are even better! i found the hotel restaurants to be good, especially the indian one.
The sunbed cushions at the pool were never cleaned. A very slight detail.

convenient location prompt service old furniture unclear charges
The location was convenient for accessing the Medina. The staff provided prompt service. I liked the easy access to the main attractions. The hotel has communal relaxing space.
The room had some maintenance issues. The furniture seemed quite old. I found the mini bar charges unclear at checkout. The room decoration was old.

the rooms have comfortable linen and good towels. both bars were lovely and the rooftop one offered a fantastic view of the mosque. breakfast included a standard buffet with plenty of choice.
the hotel could improve the speed of the pool service.

delayed food no follow-up
the reception staff were knowledgeable. and helpful throughout my stay, that was acceptable.
The rooftop indian restaurant was a disaster! my food arrived after an hour. worse, i got chicken instead of vegetarian. when i complained, they said the kitchen was too busy. This is not good enough. the front desk never followed up. it left a bad impression.

Wonderful Stay, Tranquil and Convenient
superb location lovely space great atmosphere
The hotel is in a superb location near the main square. It provides easy access to the souk. I found the hotel very stylish and quiet. The roof terrace offered a lovely space to relax. The atmosphere was great.
The food took over an hour to arrive. I was served chicken instead of vegetarian food, unacceptable.
